A message regarding healthcare reform legislation:
As you might already know, President Obama signed the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (H.R. 3590) into law on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. SHPS is currently reviewing this legislation and will be reaching out to your employer to discuss changes that impact your spending account program. In the meantime, please be assured that the legislation does not have an immediate impact on your benefits. You do not need to take any action at this time.
Any legislative changes affecting your spending accounts or other benefits programs will be communicated to you by your employer either before or during benefits enrollment.
